Prior to Suffolk University LIT Con 2019 on April 6-7, there will be a free skills training weekend and hackathon open to anyone. If you're not interested in the hackathon, consider dropping in for the skills building sessions. Judging and awards will be given out on April 8 from 4-6pm.

For a complete schedule see https://suffolklitlab.org/LITCon/2019/hack/

Join the Tubman Project to learn new skills and help create open source tools for public defenders. We're looking for developers and attorneys since legal considerations will be just as important as technical ones. More to the point, they'll often be intertwined. For example, is there a possibility that communications across your app's encrypted channel may be subject to discovery?

Eligibility

Anyone who can get to the Boston Area on April 6th and 7th is eligible to enter. Winning the hackathon will require not just technical skills, but legal and design expertise as well. All participants are welcome, regardless of skillset.
